A political project for the Moldova that stays home

The "Democrația Acasă" Party is a political project born from the need to offer Moldova an authentic alternative — one built on values, not on short-term interests, and on people who believe in the future of their country.

The Republic of Moldova is going through a period when political choices make the difference between stagnation and emancipation. PDA believes that courage is needed — the courage to propose new things, to speak honestly about uncomfortable realities, and to build trust around clear goals. Hence our slogan: "Courage is the beginning of victory."

Where we come from

On 2 September 2011, the „Democrația Acasă" Political Party was registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova. It evolved from the „Democrația Acasă" Youth Movement, born in the aftermath of the political crisis and the April 2009 protests. The movement brought together young professionals, members disillusioned with existing parties, and leaders and public figures from the diaspora.

The values of the „Democrația Acasă" Party are dignity, freedom, responsibility, cooperation, solidarity, family, and tradition. These seven principles are represented by the 7 stars on the emblem, arranged in a white circle on a blue background — a color symbolizing Faith and the Love of the Divine.
